Privacy Policy

Muhasib Al-Malhama values your privacy. This policy explains the data Muhasib Al-Malhama collects, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

• Account data (username, full name, hashed password, role, assigned branch).
• Business records (livestock, suppliers, slaughters, shift closes, sales, debts, expenses).
• Camera & photo-library access — only for scale and receipt verification inside the app.
• Transaction metrics (sale price, daily revenue, cash vs POS reconciliation).

2. How we use it

• Run the daily butcher-shop operations.
• Generate per-animal P&L and per-branch reports.
• Send daily/monthly backups to the owner's email.
• Detect anomalies to protect the business from fraud.
• We do not share data with third parties for marketing.

3. Storage & security

• Data stored on a secured, non-public database.
• Passwords hashed with bcrypt; never stored in plain text.
• Access is role-based (Owner / Cashier).
• Backups encrypted in transit and sent only to the owner's email.

4. Your rights

• Access your data at any time inside the app.
• Modify your profile and password.
• Delete your account and ALL business data from within the app: More → User Management → Delete my account. This action is immediate and irreversible.
• Request an export of your data via the email below.

5. Children

The app is intended for adult shop owners and cashiers. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

6. Third-party services

• Receipt OCR — the AI provider does not retain your images.
• Email delivery for backup reports.

7. Updates

We may update this policy occasionally; material changes will be surfaced inside the app.
